Tailored specifically for adults, parents and caregivers, this workshop series serves families whose children are either entering Special Education for the first time, or those who require deeper clarity regarding administrative paperwork, testing metrics, Compliance frameworks, and state procedures.

Navigating these systems can be an overwhelming and isolating experience. This community-facing curriculum translates complex legal and academic jargon into actionable, real-world tools, helping parents become effective, collaborative partners in their child’s educational journey.

  • Foundations of IEP vs 504 Plans

  • Navigating the System - Understanding the CSE Process

  • Decoding Data - Academic Testing & Scores

  • The road map - Goals, Tracking, Accommodations & Modifications.

Facility requirements: A private meeting room equipped with tables, seating and full wheelchair accessibility.

AV & Equipment Requirements: Active Wi-Fi access alongside a standard digital projector or interactive smart screen for slide presentation.
